City of New Bedford and PACE to Hold Lottery Drawing For Revitalized Single-Family Home

PACE Community Housing Corporation, in collaboration with the City of New Bedford’s Department of Planning, Housing and Community Development, has recently completed the restoration of a single-family home at 36 Jireh Street as part of an ongoing effort by the City of New Bedford to promote new homeownership opportunities while restoring vacant and distressed properties.

The property will be sold to an income eligible first time homebuyer in accordance with the City of New Bedford’s HOME Program lottery guidelines tomorrow, Tuesday, August 9, at 2:00 P.M. 9th the property, located at 36 Jireh Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts .

Mayor Jon Mitchell and other city officials will attend the lottery, congratulate the new homeowners and will highlight this and other efforts to strengthen our neighborhoods by restoring vacant and blighted properties and promoting homeownership through the City’s Housing and Community Development Department
