Two New Bedford Men Arrested For Drug Distribution Service

New Bedford Police Department narcotics unit arrested two men Tuesday and took 12 grams of cocaine and Percocet tablets off the street after a search warrant was executed at 34 Jouvette Street as part of an investigation into a drug distribution service.

Gabriel Delarosa, 22, of 34 Jouvette Street, basement apartment, was charged with possession of Percocet tablets, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute (subsequent offense) and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

He has a prior conviction in New Bedford District Court for dealing heroin and is currently on probation.

Kenneth Miranda, 26, of 34 Jouvette Street, Apt. 2, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of Percocet and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Police seized 11.6 grams of cocaine, three Percocet tablets, packaging materials, a digital scale and $318 in U.S. currency.

The arrests were made at 7:29 p.m.
