New Bedford man with warrant arrested for intent to deal drugs … again

At 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, members of the New Bedford Police Department narcotics unit were on patrol in the south end when they observed an individual known to have a warrant. In the process of arresting him for the warrant, police located narcotics in his possession.

Hector Ruiz Diaz, 40, of 862 So. First St. Apt. 1S, New Bedford, was charged with possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute, possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute – subsequent offense and wanted for a warrant.
