“The New Bedford Fire Department along with New Bedford Firefighters Local 841 are saddened to announce the passing of active duty member Firefighter Cory Combs on October 8, 2019.
Firefighter Combs has been a member of the Department since 2012 and assigned to Engine Company 8 located in the City’s north end.
An Army Veteran, Cory proudly served as a Paratrooper assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division and was dedicated to the New Bedford Fire Department and the citizens of this City.
