New Bedford Fire Department responds to Jenney Street garage fire

At approximately 8:00am, this morning the New Bedford Fire Department responded to a call about a fire on Jenney Street. Upon arrival, firefighters found a stone garage on fire with heavy smoke emitting from the structure.

Firefighters then used a hand ladder to climb on top of the building and used heavy machinery to cut a hole in the roof.
