New Bedford Fire Department’s Aircraft Rescue and Fire FightingTeam obtain recertification

Members of New Bedford Fire Department’s Aircraft Rescue and Fire FightingTeam (ARFF) traveled to Logan Airport today. They worked with Massport Fire to obtain recertification at their Training Facility.

These members are part of the response team that covers the New Bedford Regional Airport (EWB). A series of live burns were conducted to simulate aircraft fuselage fires to which the team responded to and extinguished.
