The emergency shelter on 634 Purchase Street in New Bedford will be open until Saturday, January 31st, 2015. The shelter is in dire need of supplies and volunteers to continue feeding the most needy of New Bedford.
Donations of sandwich meat and cheese, soups, snacks, coffee cups, casseroles, juice, soft drinks and other items are needed. They also need volunteers during the day and night Thursday and Friday.
