New Bedford Emergency Shelter Needs Volunteers, Donations

Mercy Meals and More (634 Purchase Street) will act as a temporary emergency shelter tonight at 7 p.m. due to freezing temperatures  They had 25 guests come in out of the cold last night. They could use volunteers again tonight to help with the kitchen and to interact with their guests. They can also use donations of fruit, yogurts, pudding cups, cakes, pies and other items. Call Rev.
