In anticipation of extreme winter weather, the City has requested activation of overflow homeless shelter bed capacity tonight. The point of entry for unsheltered residents will be at the Sister Rose House – Administration Building, 72 Eighth Street. Intake for those seeking shelter for the night will run from 5PM – 8 PM.

Vacant beds at the year-round shelters will be filled first, with any remaining unsheltered guests transported to the overflow shelter at the PAACA facility on Coggeshall Street.

For assistance in accessing available shelter beds, residents may also call the region’s single point of coordinated entry: 1-800-HOMELESS (1-800-46635377).
