New Bedford emergency overflow shelter open tonight (19 Dec)

Due to the expected weather temperature for this evening, the overflow shelter at Sister Rose House on 71 Division Street in New Bedford will be activated again tonight, Monday, December 19, 2016,. Guests can start to arrive at 6pm. Capacity is 25 and it’s a first come first serve basis.

Potential guests seeking shelter, would want to arrive early to ensure they get a bed. There will be a meal served and showers will be offered. Any inquires can be forwarded to Sister Rose house and 1-800-homeless.
