New Bedford couple arrested with $1,300 in crack cocaine in Dartmouth

As the result of an investigation, on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, members of the Dartmouth Police Department Detective Division arrested Jamen GREEN, 23, and Desiree Lee PRIOR, 33, both of New Bedford, on narcotics charges.

As a result of the arrest, detectives seized approximately thirteen (13) grams of crack cocaine with a street value estimated at $1,300, as well as $1,757 in cash.

Both GREEN and PRIOR were charged with possession with intent to distribute a class B substance, as well as conspiracy to violate drug laws. In addition, PRIOR was charged with being a disqualified person in possession of defense spray.

Detectives were assisted by members of the Bristol County Sheriff’s Department Warrant Apprehension Unit.
