“Yesterday we celebrated the service of our dedicated City employees, including Library Assistant Maria Connelly (at right) who has 46 years of service with New Bedford.

The City’s annual ‘pin ceremony,’ held today at Fort Taber, honors long-term public servants like Maria who bring so much institutional knowledge and local history to their work, day in and day out. We applaud their service!”-City of New Bedford.
