New Bedford Boy Scout hosts another successful annual clothing drive

“Troop 24 New Bedford’s scout Colby Blais hosted his annual clothing drive at Grace Episcopal Church on School and County Street this Sunday.

It was a great community service project. He’s been putting this on every November for the last 8 years.

Colby’s Clothing drive was a great way for scouts to help out the neediest in our community. We provided jackets, blankets, hats, gloves, socks, scarves, and personal hygiene products to lots of people who desperately needed them today. We donated what was left to the Salvation Army.

Thank you, scouts!”-Michael Blais.
