NBSO Announces 2017-2018 Season

he New Bedford Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce its 2017-2018 season! Season subscriptions are now available online through the NBSO website (www.nbsymphony.org) or by calling the NBSO at 508-999-6276. Subscribe to the full season and save 15%, or create your own series of concerts by choosing the performances, dates, and times that work best for you and save 10%. Subscribe now to get the best seats available before individual concert tickets go on sale in August.

Music Director Yaniv Dinur has put together an incredible season with wonderful guest artists you won’t want to miss. All performances will take place at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center in downtown New Bedford. The season opens on Saturday, September 23, at 7:30pm with Bernstein’s Inspiration, featuring violinist Daniel Chong. The Sibelius Connection is next on Sunday, November 26, at 3:00pm, featuring composer and bass guitarist Lauri Porra, great-grandson of Jean Sibelius. Family Holiday Pops Concerts return with two festive performances on Saturday, December 16, at 3:30pm and 7:00pm. Kiss of the Earth, featuring pianist Inon Barnatan, will be on Friday, January 5, 2018, at 7:30pm. Next up is our Movie Night pops concert, on Saturday, March 31, at 7:30pm. The season finale is Pardon My French, featuring pianist Roberto Plano, Saturday, May 26, at 7:30pm. For concert program information, visit www.nbsymphony.org.
