New Bedford Guide Your Guide to New Bedford and South Coast, MA
The New Bedford Police Department will be hosting its final community outreach event of the summer this Thursday, August 10th. It will take place at Riverside Park (297 Belleville Ave) from 12pm-2pm.
This family friendly event will have many resource tables set up with FREE giveaways! Most of the agency partners in attendance make up our city’s Community Crisis Intervention Team (CCIT).
Just to name a few, representatives from New Bedford Public Health, New Bedford School Dept, New Bedford Housing, behavioral health groups, Harm Reduction coaches, several Church groups, and the Department of Mental Health will be present.
You’ll be able to take a photo in the award winning New Bedford Police Department custom cars and meet McGruff the Crime Dog at this final summer pop up event!
