New Bedford Police Department arrests 20 year old for cocaine charges, including intent to distribute

New Bedford Police Department narcotics unit has taken 10 grams of cocaine off the streets.

Police arrested Daarnez Ramos, 20, of 50 Ellen St. Apt. 2, New Bedford, Thursday night for possession of class B substance (cocaine) and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

The arrest was the result of an investigation into a cocaine distribution service being conducted out of 791 Brock Ave., Apt. 1 north.

A search warrant was executed at the property. In addition to the drugs, police discovered plastic bags, packaging material and $233.
