“About a kid that grew up in an extremely abusive foster care home in New Bedford in the late 70’s – early 80’s. He graduated from New Bedford High in 1985. I had the pleasure of knowing him in throughout his days in Elementary School (Ellen R Hathaway) also in New Bedford. He spent his entire childhood trying to convince the powers to be, to remove him from the abusive home.

He first released a book (A Chance in The World) and now the movie. He currently serves as Chief Diversity Officer and Divisional Vice President for Walgreens.” – ‎Frank Perry‎
