Mercy Meals Seeks Volunteers for Christmas Day Lunch

Mercy Meals received all the volunteers they needed for the Christmas Day lunch! If you’d like to volunteer they can use people for the New Year’s Day lunch! Call Reverend Russ Chamberlain at 508-728-1489 for information or to sign up to volunteer.

Last year we visited Mercy Meals and More and talked to Reverend Russ Chamberlain. The people and facility are a great resource for the homeless to get a free meal in New Bedford.They will be serving a Christmas Day meal and need volunteers! The lunch will be from 11 to 1 p.m. on Christmas Day at 634 Purchase Street in New Bedford. It is open to all who need a place for lunch on Christmas Day. They are in need of volunteers to help prepare, serve and clean up the lunch so others can go home to family events. Volunteers are invited to arrive around 9 a.m. Call Reverend Russ Chamberlain at 508-728-1489 for information or to sign up to volunteer.
