Mayor Mitchell ask city council for temporary moratorium on recreational marijuana
New Bedford Mayor Mitchell submitted the following ordinance amendment to City Council, amending Chapter 9, of the City Code by adding Section 5720 TEMPORARY MORATORIUM ON RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA ESTABLISHMENTS.
Mayor Mitchell’s amendment calls for a “temporary moratorium on the use of land or structures for a marijuana establishment and other uses related to non-medical marijuana.”
