“The Mattapoisett Police Department is proud to announce the promotion of Officer Robert Randall to the rank of Sergeant.
Sgt. Randall is a lifelong resident of Mattapoisett and a graduate of Old Rochester Regional High School. Sgt. Randall has been a full-time patrol officer since 2008. Throughout his career Sgt. Randall has taken on many roles within the department. He currently serves as a Field Training Officer (FTO), Firearms Instructor, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Motorcycle Patrol Officer, and Firearms Licensing Administrator.
Sgt. Randall obtained his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and is actively pursuing his Bachelors Degree. Sgt. Randall will be assigned to the midnight shift as the shift supervisor.
