“At approximately 3:30 p.m. today Trooper Ricky Chiampi, assigned to State Police-Revere, responded to 911 reports of two dogs loose on Route 1 at the Boston/Chelsea line.

As he was arriving on scene Trooper Chiampi observed two Huskies on the Tobin Bridge where two concerned motorists pulled over and were holding them in place, keeping them from being struck by passing cars.

Trooper Chiampi was able to secure the dogs in the back of his cruiser where they comfortably sat until the arrival of Chelsea Animal Control. They then took the dogs and transported them to a local animal hospital. The owners have still not been located.”-Massachusetts State Police.
