Massachusetts State Troopers share example of how not to load a truck

“Troopers with the Massachusetts State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section — the Truck Team, as we call it informally — came across this little example of safe vehicle operation earlier this month.

The truck, which was observed by Troopers in heavy “stop and go” traffic on the Expressway northbound in Quincy, was carrying a pole that extended eight feet beyond the bed with no flag attached to warn other motorists. The driver’s license was also revoked.

The driver and truck, who were headed to Maine, were taken off the road. Tragedy averted.” – Massachusetts State Police
