Massachusetts State Police face violence, disprespect, criminal behavior by unruly beach crowd

“Last night, our members yet again faced violence, disrespect, and criminal behavior in Boston. Troopers responded to multiple 911 calls regarding a large, unruly group of young adults at Carson Beach. Two teenagers were arrested in the chaos for numerous charges.

One teenager climbed onto and damaged a Trooper’s cruiser. The other was arrested and found to be in possession of a shank-like, dangerous weapon. We have said it before, and we will say it again – we will not let the safety of our community be jeopardized. These actions are unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

The Association would like to thank all of our members who responded last night, our law enforcement partners from Boston Police, and all the others who helped safely diffuse this chaotic situation.” -State Police Association of Massachusetts.
