“THE UNRESOLVED CASES PLAYING CARD #2 – HOMICIDE OF JAMES DOMINGUEZ:

In partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, Massachusetts District Attorney’s Offices, and law enforcement agencies statewide, the Massachusetts State Police have created a deck of cards to further our mission of securing justice for victims of violent crimes. Each card in our deck features the victim of an unresolved serious violent crime.

Most of them are homicide victims. The victims were chosen through input from each participating District Attorney’s Office.

The victims in this deck were someone’s mother, father, sister, brother, wife, husband, child, or partner. Much time may have passed since the crime that took them from their loved ones, but they, and the victims of all our unresolved cases, are not forgotten. Our detectives and forensic specialists across the state work daily to solve cases like these. Often, after years of dedicated work by investigators, we find that we just need a little more information to solve the case. We hope these cards, when viewed, prompt an influx of that information.

The playing cards are being distributed to inmates in state prisons in the hope that they will have, and be willing to share, information about the crimes highlighted in the deck. We also ask members of the public to view the cards in the hope that they, too, might be motivated to share any information they have. The people who loved, and were loved by, these victims have waited too long for justice. Help us end that wait.

We are also highlighting one card per week, in order of the deck. Today we feature the second card, that of victim James “Diddy” “JD” Dominguez, who was shot to death in Pittsfield in 2016. If you have any information that might help us solve Anthony’s murder, or information about any of the cases featured in the deck, please call us toll free 1-855-MA-SOLVE, or send an email mspunresolved@pol.state.ma.us, or send a letter to the Unresolved Cases Unit at 470 Worcester Road, Framingham MA 01702.” -Massachusetts State Police.
