“Association members assisted yesterday with the rescue of an operator whose car was swept up in an unusually high tide near the drawbridge on Morrissey Boulevard.

Luckily, the operator of the vehicle is fine and unharmed and only a little waterlogged. MSP H-6 patrols from SP South Boston and the Marine unit assisted other responders in this rescue.

We remind all drivers to be aware of weather and hazardous contact on the road while traveling.” -State Police Association of Massachusetts.
