“What better night than Christmas Eve for a new dog to make his first find?

Zigo, a recent graduate of our K9 patrol school, and his handler, Trooper Ben Siok, assisted Fitchburg Police in an article search for a gun that a trespassing suspect boasted that he had, but would not reveal where it was.

Zigo was deployed in the area where the suspect had been seen and found the gun. It turned out to be a pellet rifle, but a nice start to a dog’s career. Welcome to our family, Zigo.
