During the week of November 11th-17th, Massachusetts State Police K9 units had a total of 56 missions. 36 missions were specifically with the state police and the remaining 20 were with local police units. 16 were patrol calls and 10 were narcotics sniffs.

The highlight of the week goes to Trooper Kilimonis and his K9 partner “Boomah” who on Nov. 17th responded to Westborough to help search for a man who assaulted two women and fled into the woods.

Boomah acquired a track and pulled along the woodline, and into a hotel parking lot, where he displayed a proximity alert and quickly located the suspect.

Trooper Kilimoni then took the suspect into custody.
