Massachusetts State Police K9 Flash will receive a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. Flash is the partner to Trooper Steven Culver.

Flash’s vest is sponsored by a charity dog wash event hosted by CareOne at Essex Park in Beverly and will be embroidered with the sentiment “This gift of protection provided by CareOne at Essex Park.” Delivery is expected within eight to ten weeks.

The Massachusetts State Police are extremely grateful to Vested Interest in K9s and CareOne at Essex Park for the vest donation. Our dogs are loyal, courageous and beloved partners to their handlers and play an important role in our public safety mission. We strive to make them as safe as possible in the performance of their duty.
