Massachusetts State Police Add Everett Murder Suspect to Most Wanted List

The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section today added to its list of Most Wanted fugitives David M. Grossack, the suspect wanted for the homicide of Francis Brescia in Everett.

Grossack, 47, is wanted by the State Police Detective Unit for Middlesex County and Everett Police for the murder. He is white, 6’2” tall, 175 pounds with a thin build, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on the back of his left hand, near the knuckle of his index finger. Grossack is believed to be homeless and has frequented shelters in Boston, Lynn, and Salem. He additionally has past ties to Saugus, Beverly, and Norton. He may have access to weapons.

In addition to the warrant for Mr. Brescia’s murder, Grossack is the subject of additional warrants in Massachusetts for unrelated charges. He has a lengthy criminal history, including convictions in Massachusetts and California for crimes ranging from assault and battery, domestic abuse, carrying a dangerous weapon, breaking and entering, and lewd conduct.

Mr. Brescia was found dead in his apartment on Saturday, Feb. 25. His death has been ruled a homicide by the state Medical Examiner.
