A Massachusetts State Police cruiser was heavily vandalized overnight in a parking garage in Quincy. State Police Troop H Detectives, Crime Scene Services Troopers, and a State Police chemist are investigating.

The cruiser, which was parked in a garage at 1 Brook Rd., was vandalized some time between 7:30 p.m. last night and 6:50 a.m. today.

When the Trooper to whom the cruiser is assigned went to it at 6:50 a.m. today he found the front driver and passenger window, along with the rear passenger window, smashed. There is evidence that the cruiser was rummaged through but at this time it does not appear that anything was taken.

Investigators processed the cruiser for evidence. The investigation is ongoing. Several photos of the damaged cruiser are included with this release. Please credit the photos to Massachusetts State Police.
