Massachusetts State Police cite two truck drivers for load spillage, uncovered load, and other charges

“Over the weekend members of the State Police Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement Section, or the ‘truck team’ as it has come to be known as, observed these two trucks with dangerous loads.

One truck was full over the top with loam and spilling it as it was traveling on the roadway striking vehicles and leaving a mess behind while doing so. The operator was cited with having an uncovered load, spillage of the load onto the roadway, and exceeding the rated carrying capacity of the truck.

Another truck was carrying sand and road salt loaded over the maximum rated capacity of the truck while also spilling over the sides and out of the rear of the gate. This operator was cited for spillage of the load onto the roadway and exceeding the rated carrying capacity of the truck.”-Massachusetts State Police.
