“While assigned to the Big E in West Springfield, MSP Troop B Community Liaison Trooper DeShawn Brown stopped to speak with a group of 5th-grade students who were there on a field trip.

The Big E is the largest agricultural event on the eastern seaboard and the sixth-largest fair in the nation. During their conversation, Trooper Brown learned that the students he was speaking with currently attend his former elementary school, Patrick E. Bowe Elementary in Chicopee. Trooper Brown also learned that some of students live in the same neighborhood where he grew up.

Trooper Brown took the opportunity to speak with the young men about the importance of good character, and never giving up on their dreams. Trooper Brown would like to thank the Bowe School students and staff for being extremely polite and for taking the time out of their day to speak with him.

He would also like to add “Go Bulldogs!” -Massachusetts State Police.
#MSPTogetherWeCan.”
