“The State Police Gaming Enforcement Unit, working with the Everett and Malden Police Departments hosted an event for 73 Everett and Malden children who were attending the Malden Jr. Police Academy and the Everett Crimson Kids Summer Camp.

The State Police Mounted Unit, Airwing, Underwater Recovery Unit, Bomb Squad, Marine Section and Gaming Enforcement Unit all interacted with the children and explained their unit’s role in keeping the Commonwealth safe.

The Community outreach event was held on the DCR Harborwalk and DCR Gateway Park in Everett adjacent to the Encore resort, and included a visit from MSP Air 2, Marine 9, two MSP Mounted Unit horses, and “Scout”, a MSP explosives detection K-9.

This was the second of two events sponsored by the Everett Police Department Community Service Unit and the Malden Police Department, and the State Police officers from each unit were proud to help make both events a success.”-Massachusetts State Police.
