Massachusetts State Police arrest suspect in fatal Wareham stabbing

Massachusetts State Police have arrested a man for the fatal stabbing of another man in Wareham.

David Robbins, 65, of Wareham, is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Wareham District Court on one count each of Murder and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

At approximately 4:55am on Wednesday, Wareham Police Department received a 911 call for a report of a stabbing in the area of 184 Main Street. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle with obvious damage and the male victim outside bleeding from a stab wound.

The victim was taken to Tobey Hospital in Wareham before being med flighted to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston where he was pronounced dead of his injuries at 5:22am. He has been identified as 33-year old Yves Roux Jr. of Wareham.
