Massachusetts State Police to box for a good cause

Fight fans, be sure to check out Battle at the Beach II, presented by the Massachusetts State Police Boxing Team on Friday, Aug. 13 at the Oceanside Events Center, 1290 North Shore Rd., Revere.

Boxers from the Massachusetts State Police and other public safety agencies will compete for a good cause — proceeds will benefit youth boxing programs. For tickets, go to www.mspboxing.com

The Massachusetts State Police Boxing Team is the only State Police boxing team in the United States. The team is comprised of Troopers of the State Police along with local police, corrections officers, deputy sheriffs, and firefighters from across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
