Massachusetts man arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine

On Thursday, November 14, C.I.N.R.E.T. (Commonwealth Interstate Narcotics Reduction Enforcement Team) executed search warrants in Milford following an investigation into methamphetamine trafficking.

The suspect, Mark Pironti of Milford, was arrested and charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine 200 grams and over. In addition to over 200 grams of methamphetamine, approximately $35,000.00 in United States currency was seized as evidence of Pironti’s illegal drug trafficking activities.

This was a joint investigation led by MSP C.I.N.R.E.T and United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Assistance was provided by the Milford Police Department and United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). Pironti is suspected of obtaining bulk methamphetamine from out of state sources and then distributing it to customers throughout Massachusetts and New England. He was held pending arraignment in Milford District Court.
