“On September 24, 2022 at approximately 8:38 PM, troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop A Barracks, along with emergency medical personnel from the Seabrook Fire Department, responded to a report of a crash on Interstate 95 involving two vehicles, one of which had reportedly rolled over.

Upon arrival, Troopers located a 2013 Mazda operated by Guilherme Faxina, 22 of Chelsea, MA. Witnesses on scene advised that the Mazda was traveling at an excessive rate of speed when it rear-ended a 2013 Acura TL. The Mazda rolled over upon impact and rolled into the woods. The driver and female passenger of the Mazda were both transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for injuries they sustained. The occupants of the Acura TL left the scene uninjured.

Three travel lanes of Interstate 95 were closed for approximately two hours. After investigation, Troopers arrested Faxina for Driving While Intoxicated.

All aspects of this crash remain under investigation, but speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash. State Police is requesting that anyone who may have witnessed the crash contact the investigating trooper, Trooper Brian Hanna by email at Brian.D.Hanna@dos.nh.gov.” -New Hampshire State Police.
