Massachusetts man arrested for OUI, possession with Intent to distribute marijuana

At approximately 10:12 p.m., this past Saturday, Trooper David Amadei was on patrol on Route 90 eastbound when he observed a Honda Accord commit motor vehicle violations. Trooper Amadei stopped the vehicle at the 85-mile marker in Charlton.

As a result of an investigation and subsequent search of the vehicle, several packages of marijuana edibles and paraphernalia were found. Trooper Kevin Kennedy assisted.

The operator identified as ANTHONY DRISCOLL, 41, of Monson was placed under arrest and transported to the Charlton Barracks where he was booked and held pending his arraignment Tuesday in Dudley District Court.

ANTHONY DRISCOLL was criminally charged with the following offenses:

1) OUI Liquor
2) Possession to Distribute Class D

DRISCOLL was issued a civil citation for the following motor vehicle infractions; Mass Pike: Following Too Close and Marked Lanes Violation.
