Massachusetts State Police Lt. Col. Robert Favuzza retires after 33 years of service

Colonel Christopher Mason (left) and Lieutenant Colonel Scott Warmington (right), Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent of Department, congratulate Lieutenant Colonel Robert Favuzza earlier this week upon his retirement after 33 years with the Massachusetts State Police.

Lt. Col. FAVUZZA most recently commanded the Division of Standards and Training, where his accomplishments included overseeing the successful completion of the 85th Recruit Training Troop, perhaps the most challenging Academy class in the MSP’s history due to training adaptations necessitated by the coronavirus public health crisis. Lt. Col. Favuzza previously commanded MSP Troop F, which provides policing and security for Logan Airport and other Port Authority properties.

We wish him well in the next chapter of his life.
