“On the afternoon of Wednesday, September 11, 2019, a Massachusetts Environmental Police Officer in Plymouth observed an individual hauling lobster pots by boat without a display buoy.

Upon confronting the suspect at the boat ramp, the suspect denied doing so and indicated that no lobsters were onboard. During an inspection of the vessel, the Officer located nine lobsters including an egg-bearing lobster.

It was further determined that the suspect did not possess a lobster permit. The subject was placed under arrest and has been charged with multiple lobster and fisheries-related offenses.”-Massachusetts Environmental Police.
