Massachusetts Environmental Police lieutenant receives Service Member Patriot award

Congratulations to Massachusetts Environmental Police Lieutenant Robert Akin on being awarded the Service Member Patriot Award.

This award is presented by the Office of the Secretary of Defense in recognition of a supervisor’s efforts in support of citizen soldiers.

Lt. Akin was nominated for this award by a currently deployed Massachusetts Environmental Police Officer. Lt. Akin is pictured here with the Officer’s family.
