The quintessential New England coffee destination Dunkin’ announced they will be closing 800 locations – approximately 8% of their stores – throughout the U.S. In addition, the company stated that closures may be extended to 350 locations outside of the country.
Pruning their low-volume sales locations is a decision made by the Quincy-based business and comes in light of their recently released 2nd quarter earnings. Half of the locations will be in Speedway convenience stores.
