‘Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz recognized Marion as a Handle with Care community on Monday June 7th.

“Handle with Care” provides the school “heads up” when a child has been identified at the scene of a traumatic event. Our department will identify children at the scene, find out where they go to school (Sippican School, ORR Junior High, and ORR High School), and send a message to Superintendent Nelson that says the child is a handle with care.

The school will then be on the lookout for any type of behavior which might be out of character for that child and provide assistance if needed.’ -Marion Police Department.
