Mardi Gras “Fat Tuesday” Party to Feature Live Brass Band and New Orleans Style Buffet!

This February, the New Bedford Boys & Girls Club will host its first-ever Mardi Gras “Fat Tuesday” Party! The event will raise critical funds for the club’s youth programming, and will support their ability to continue to serve the community for years to come.

The event will offer top notch entertainment, food, and ambience. New Orleans music will be performed all night by the SouthCoast Brass Band alongside a traditional Jambalaya buffet, themed “Hurricane” drinks, dancing, auction items, Mardi Gras masks, beads, and more.

The event will take place on February 13, 2018 from 7:00pm-10:30pm at Greasy Luck Brewpub, 791 Purchase Street, New Bedford, MA 02740. Tickets are $50 in advance or $60 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the Boys & Girls Club located at 166 Jenney Street during normal business hours, or online at www.greasyluckbrewpub.ticketfly.com.

Proceeds to benefit the New Bedford Boys & Girls Club! The Boys & Girls Club is a critical organization within the community, serving children and young adults from New Bedford and all of its surrounding towns. The club assists youth from all socio-economic backgrounds, and helps participants develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship. Each year, the club serves 1,200-1,500 members, with an additional 2,500 non-members served through various events and programs. This event will help support these programs.
