Man with two outstanding warrants attempts to pass counterfeit bills in Dartmouth

On Monday, September 11, 2017 at approximately 4:15 p.m., Dartmouth Police responded to the Dartmouth Mall to investigate an incident involving the passing of counterfeit money.

Upon identifying the male who had passed the counterfeit bills at Olympia Sports, as Jaumell CLAYTON, 27, of Boston, Massachusetts, it was learned that he had two (2) outstanding warrants.

Subsequent to being taken into custody, officers recovered additional counterfeit money on his person, as well as a small amount of cocaine.

In addition to the outstanding warrants, CLAYTON was charged with possession of counterfeit notes, uttering counterfeit notes and possession of a class B substance.
