This morning at approximately 2:00am north end officers were dispatched to a stabbing at Dublin’s Sports bar located at 1686 Acushnet Ave. Upon arrival they observed the 20 yr. old male victim inside bleeding. He sustained four non-life threatening stab wounds to the torso area. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital in stable condition and is expected to undergo surgery sometime this morning.
It appears a fight broke out inside the business around closing time between several parties. It involved barstools and at least one knife. The entire incident is under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
