Man shot in North End of New Bedford

Last night at approximately 6:50pm north end officers were sent to the area of 878 Old Plainville Rd. regarding a male that had been shot.

Upon arrival they observed a 30 yr. old New Bedford man who was shot in the right shin. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and is in stable condition.

It appears that the victim was having an argument with the suspect outside of the building when several shots were fired. A knife was recovered from the scene that belonged to the victim. The victim remains uncooperative at this time.
