Last night at approximately 10:30pm an armed robbery occurred at Prime Energy, a gasoline/convenience store, located at 30 Rockdale Ave. in the south end of New Bedford. The 37 year old male victim was not harmed.
The suspect entered the business armed with a stun gun that he “sparked”. He then fled the business after stealing cash and cigarettes and was last seen running behind the business in a southerly direction. Two other recent robberies in New Bedford and Fairhaven involved stun guns:

Description:
- Short black male in his 20’s.
- Light to medium build
- Grey hooded sweatshirt and mask covering his face
- Black pants and black boots.
