Man injured while being robbed for his phone by two people on Purchase Street

Yesterday around 5:30pm, a person reported that two people approached him in front of 1928 Purchase St. The suspects demanded that he give them his phone. When he refused, a suspect produced a knife and at some point, the victim sustained a minor injury.

New Bedford police are investigating.
