Man charged with OUI drugs while behind the wheel in New Bedford

A driver is being charged with OUI-drugs and operating a vehicle without a license after New Bedford police officers found the driver behind the wheel at 9:58 am on Sunday with the car running and stopped in the middle of traffic near 110 County Street.

Medical attention was provided and the driver was transported to the hospital. New Bedford police are not releasing details of the driver until official charges have been filed. Their first priority was to get the diver medical attention.
